MilliStrat is a trading name of Cynical Software Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under Company No. SC693356, with its registered office at 6 Sandilands Grove, Abernethy, PH2 9FX, United Kingdom.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MilliStrat website, software, and services. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using MilliStrat, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
MilliStrat is a subscription-based software platform for building, backtesting, analyzing, and optimizing trading strategies across supported financial markets.
MilliStrat does not offer financial or investment advice. It is intended for educational and research purposes only.
3. Accounts and Access
To use MilliStrat, you must register an account and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activity under your account, whether authorized or not.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or breach of these Terms.
4. Subscription & Billing
MilliStrat operates on a subscription model. You agree to pay all applicable fees as displayed at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard.
- Access remains valid until the end of the current billing period.
We accept payments via Stripe and PayPal. Your payment information is processed securely by these third-party providers and is not stored on our servers.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
We offer a 7-day refund period from the original purchase date of a first-time subscription. Refund requests must be submitted to our support team.
Refunds are not available for:
- Renewals or recurring subscription payments.
- Cancellations made after the 7-day window.
- Discounted, promotional, or trial plan purchases.
Cancellations can be made at any time via your billing dashboard. After cancellation, no further payments will be taken.
6. License and Use
Cynical Software Ltd grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use MilliStrat for personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, reverse engineer, or modify the software.
- Resell, rent, or sublicense the platform.
- Use the platform for unlawful or harmful purposes.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use MilliStrat in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Avoid using the platform to distribute malicious, misleading, or harmful content.
- Keep your login credentials secure and avoid sharing them with others.
8. Fair Use
We reserve the right to monitor usage and limit access in cases of excessive or abusive behavior that may negatively affect system performance or other users.
Automated or scripted usage is not permitted without prior written permission.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the MilliStrat platform, branding, user interface, content, and software belong to Cynical Software Ltd.
You may not reproduce, repurpose, or create derivative works based on any part of the platform without express written permission.
10. Third-Party Services
MilliStrat integrates with third-party services including but not limited to:
- Stripe and PayPal for secure payment processing.
- Binance and FXCM for financial market data (via user-connected accounts).
These services are governed by their own terms and availability. We are not responsible for service disruptions, delays, or data inaccuracies caused by third-party platforms.
Users must ensure they have proper authorization and valid credentials when connecting external accounts.
11. Termination of Use
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to MilliStrat if you:
- Breach these Terms.
- Misuse or attempt to interfere with the platform.
- Engage in illegal or abusive conduct.
We may also restrict access to features for technical, operational, or legal reasons.
12. Disclaimers
MilliStrat is provided “as is” without warranties or guarantees of any kind. The platform is intended for research and educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Use of MilliStrat is at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cynical Software Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including:
- Trading losses.
- Lost profits.
- System downtime.
- Data inaccuracies.
Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you have paid in the previous 12 months.
14. Data & Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data and ensure platform security.
Login credentials are securely encrypted and stored locally on your device (via the Windows Registry) for auto-login purposes. These credentials are never stored on our servers.
You are responsible for securing your local environment, including protection against malware or unauthorized access.

15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app messaging.
Your continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
